Decided to take a look at the Lexus website, when I saw this:
Why would you get an IS when an ES is only $450 more?

The ES is loaded at 37, the is is just getting started. Expect to pay mid 40's for the IS you want.

I don't know?

There is a difference in standard equipment available in both cars. ES is very well equipped off the bat.

Which is the old IS-F, right?

With math skills like that I'm not sure you have to worry about buying a new Lexus any time in the near future.

Because you want a sporty rwd sedan rather than a big fwd boat.

driving dynamics?
Why buy a GTi whena passat is the same price...?
![]() 02/13/2015 at 12:30 |
|
Because the ES is a high-trim Camry, while the IS is a fun-to-drive RWD sports sedan?
![]() 02/13/2015 at 12:30 |
|
Because RWD and not an overpriced Camry?
![]() 02/13/2015 at 12:34 |
|
Because the ES is a fucking Camry and the IS is an actual Lexus. Same goes for the CTS/XTS.

is=sporty chassis, RWD, freshly re-designed
es=it's a camry with an L on the front
